Man, I don't want to be a debbie downer, because I'm really not. I'm excited about the team next year. But there is no QB competition. It is Mauk's job. Short of an injury, there is no way he doesn't at least start the season at QB. And if he starts the season he will likely finish it, short of losing the first 4 games on the schedule.

This is Mauk's team. Make no mistake about it. Lock will redshirt, it is the logical move.
Maty Mauk is the type of players that Missouri people want. A guy who is willing to fight tooth and nail for every yard, every point, every first down.
We have debated about how the basketball team doesn't have a leader, something every successful team needs. Mauk is that guy.
Between betting on the undersized gunslinger with recruiting, to finding a job for his dad when he got screwed, Maty has shown that he is worthy of the Mizzou uniform.
I'm excited for next season, I just pray that the WR's are using every second of the offseason to get better
