This fall will be an absolutely great QB competition if we can keep Printz from transferring.
Mauk is HS record setting big play high risk gunslinger that wins games but frustrates the hell out of everyone.
Printz is a HS All-American and the best all around QB everyone has forgotten about (something to prove).
Berkstresser is the senior lifelong tiger that has game experience and the desire to prove that he is better than 2012 gave him the chance to be (and I believe he is).
Zanders is power running QB with good arm and head for the game everyone has tried to convert to receiver (something to prove).
Lock has NFL prototypical size and arm (elite 11) but will be a true freshman but has been deemed the second coming before getting to campus.
I believe it will be an exciting spring/fall and drives everyone to get better.

Man, I don't want to be a debbie downer, because I'm really not. I'm excited about the team next year. But there is no QB competition. It is Mauk's job. Short of an injury, there is no way he doesn't at least start the season at QB. And if he starts the season he will likely finish it, short of losing the first 4 games on the schedule.
