Texas should be split 3 ways. From Houston and just a bit west of I-45 all the way east is the Southern. Around Dallas and up into pand handle is Midwest. From San Antonio west and south of are all part of the West. Austin is a part of the Pacific Northwest.

Yeah similarly Missouri ideally would be split 2 ways. Below the red line is more Southern, above it is more Midwestern. I've been to a lot of the southern states, and one of the thickest Southern drawls I've ever heard came from a girl I took on a date from the Missouri bootheel.



It would be interesting if someone would do a breakdown by counties so we could see the divisions in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kentucky, and West Virginia.
