heavily incentive performance.

The only problem is when you start putting more on the back end like that, you limit your options of who you can hire. Every man has his price, and if you can't meet the baseline, no one comes knocking. Unfortunate, since I agree the meat of contracts should be put in the incentive pile, just not the way the market has worked out. It's a symptom of ever increasing salaries.

From the Press Conference.

Hoke will be in charge of the Secondary and LB's

Ward will be in charge of the DL.

Hoke will call the plays.

Ward said he was happy that SOS kept him around for another year. Ward talked about his ability to adapt to change and that he was happy to work with Hoke and learn from him. Ward knew Hoke when Ward was with the Raiders and Hoke was with Houston.

Grady is now titled as Quality Control. He will have the opportunity to come back as a named coach if someone leaves.

SOS said that another QC Coach will be coming. He said that they weren't great on Spec Teams this year and they are going to do some things differently.

Hoke is really happy to be at SC. He said the opportunity to coach again with SOS was the primary reason he came back to the college game.

Spurrier is excited about the pass rushers we have coming in this year, hopes that they're going to help make a big change for the defense.

Side Note: I was told that the $125 is not a Cap to the incentives and those are just the ones we know about, so there could be more opportunity for him to earn income/bonuses.
