It's never too early to start looking to future signing days. Check out the numbers on this kid. For the '14 season (as a Sophomore)...224 of 370 for 3,891 yards...44 tds and 13 ints. He is a little small (6'1" 175), but he has two complete seasons to grow. He plays for Mesquite Horn (Texas 6A) and led them to an 11-2 season last year.
I only know about him, because his head coach (4 year Letterman at UT), was my offensive coordinator in H.S.
Here are his MaxPreps stats page and Hudl page. He looks like he could use some work on his passing fundamentals...but he looks like he has pretty good wheels.

Before even clicking the 247 link I saw the first couple highlights and told myself, 'this just looks like a baylor qb' I guess my instincts were spot on but idk why you posted this here. Isn't there a big 12 board you can post this on?
His size would be the only issue though.

His HC played in the SEC, and there have been a lot of kids from Mesquite playing in the SEC. He looks pretty mobile, and has pretty good speed. I would say, with more SEC teams playing a zone-read based offense, he could be a good fit.
I don't know if size would be an issue or not (since he is only 16 years old). Will probably grow between now and NSD 2 years from now (he's taller than Aaron Murray already).

6'1 is pretty good size for a sophomore in HS

To bump this post...looks like he committed to Oklahoma today. I was hoping that he would come East and play in the SEC.

Kid is as good as any qb in the 2016 class, he absolutely tore up the rivals 5* challenge 2 weeks ago, going to be special this one.
