To continue with what Crow said. Auburn is always going to come get 2 or 3 a year outta ATL. Bama will as well.
Columbus is pretty much an Auburn town and outside of JJ29 they never really pan out in Athens.
But outside of Columbus it pisses me off to no end when we lose kids from South GA. That should not happen.

I agree. I'm glad we have him so far but the #1 athlete in the nation here in Savannah should be kept in state.

Deep South GA is just so far away from Athens. And, in large chunks of it, it isn't an easy drive. 2 lane, then 75, then Atlanta, then Athens.
Tallahassee and Gainesville (and even Auburn) are just right there.
It's a tough sell.
