I enjoy watching football with my wife. I'd enjoy hunting with her if she wanted to do it. I also enjoy just hanging out with my brothers and father, and have never had her try and 'butt in' when doing so. When we have other couples over, the women congregate in the living room, and the men in the rec-room. My wife brings plates of chips/dip or buckets of beer on ice to us, but other than that leaves us alone to 'guy time'. Sounds like you're doing it wrong.

This is stupid. Are you not able to conceive of the notion of societal trends? Do you deny the existence of increasing obesity because you may happen to be skinny?

If you want to put a societal trend on this, it's that men are behaving more and more like children. Its been a while since I thought something couldn't be cool because a girl liked it, or that men are becoming so beta their women aren't understanding separate spheres of male and female society.

Either way, I find it hard to understand why women caring about football is somehow threatening my masculinity.
