I'm a Fayetteville High alumnus and for decades upon decades the program was pretty bad. We would put together a Zak Clark team once every 15 years or so and get knocked out late in the state playoffs, but that was about it.

But the potential was always there because of the money, city, and size of the school. The same with Bentonville, Rogers, and Springdale. Patton finally put together good teams and won championships in Fayetteville. I just hate that we had to wallow under Adams for so long and Dick Johnson the AD.

That's why I question why you would leave NLR for Nashville. It seems that you could possibly get more D1 type athletes and big games and notoriety and a higher salary at a place like NLR or one of the NWA schools.

If you were running a fund to do things like pay kids parents rent, etc. you might hafta get outa town fast.

If you were financing that fund thru boosters from Bama and other sources...well...things might get real interesting when the coach of your in state program finally has enough.

Oh yeah...Hill's stepfather makes Cecil Newton look like the Pope.
