I don't know why you keep posting that. I'm not arguing about 9 game schedules, I'm saying that the only point of a "conference" is a regional league where you play teams regularly and develop a relationship with. If we are going go all OU-Nebraska Big XII on the league and rip up AU-UGA and Bama-UT then I'd rather just rip up the league and play home and homes with teams around the country.
You are missing the point. The way you get to play teams in this conference every year is putting them in your division. The solution has existed for two decades, yet Bama fans like yourself still can't seem to understand that all you have to do it put UT in the West or move Bama to the East. No gymnastics, perma-screwed up schedules, never playing other division teams, etc. necessary. Easily fixed.

I'd be 100% totally content moving to the East along with Auburn and switching places with Missouri or Vanderbilt. I think a lot of Alabama people would. Playing traditional rivals every season like we have for 50 or 100 years is higher on my totem poll than ways to avoid losses.
There is zero chance the Eastern schools want to see a division with UGA, UF, AU, UA, UT, USCe. Never will happen.
