Do the other two guys have pretty much the same charges? Why not try all four at the same time?

Brandon Vandenburg and Cory Batey were the main guys - Vandenburg orchestrated the whole thing even telling the others what to do. The other two were not as involved although one (Brandon Banks) is accused of being a more active player than the other (Jaborian "Tip" McKenzie). At some point, the state thought both might be called to testify/testify against the other two. However, either the state or one of the other two changed his mind (likely the state but that is a total guess based on the fact that one participated more while the other only took a photo).

Jaborian "Tip" Mckenzie is the one who did testify and in the meantime he'd been given leave to move out of state which indicates that he was far, far, more trusted by the state than the others. My guess is that he may wind up recieving a plea deal from prosecutors now that he's finished testifying. A few of the charges against Banks may be amended if they feel the case against him (on multiple charges) is weaker, though it seems pretty open and shut for him as well.

Initially, all had the same charges except that Vandenburg had 2 extra for illegal recording and for evidence tampering. Who knows what prosecutors will do now. There's absolutely NO DOUBT that Vandenburg was the ringleader and Batey his worst follower. My main thing, and likely the prosecutors' as well, was getting Vandenburg behind bars - Batey too but Vandenburg was the scalp I most wanted.

Definitely. He's the POS that started it all.
