I was born and raised in Rolla in south central Missouri. My dad worked for the Forest Service for the Mark Twain National Forest for over 35 years so I've been all over southern Missouri and floated every river many times.
Like others have said, still to this day, my favorite thing to do when I go back is float the Current River with friends, a cooler of beer and an ultralight fishing pole.
