Prescott played in 13 games. Newton played in 14 games. Nice math skills.

Honestly I completely forgot and counted the 15 games currently. And I have a hard time believing Dak had more snaps this year, our backup played the equivalent of a few games, Dak played 13 games but missed a quarter or more in 5 of them.

That's the problem you have when you ignore the in-depth statistics and just glance at total numbers.

I would argue that total numbers are far more important. The totals factor in the "in-depth statistics". If a QB throws 10 INT's he inherently has 10 fewer opportunities to score a TD and is directly affecting his total yards.

And, of course, no other QB missed time due to blowouts

You can argue it all you want, but Dak was responsible for 606 plays and Newton 544. Those are facts. Just because you want to put your fingers in your ears and ignore it doesn't change the way the real world works.

sure you would. I guess Mike Leach's QBs are always the best in the country because of all the yardage they throw for. Connor Halliday is the best QB in the country because he averages throwing for 430 yards a game. We'll just ignore that he also throws it 58 times a game (well he did, before his injury) because TOTAL NUMBERS!!!!!!!!!!

Cool.

Dak threw more INTs than both Newton and Tebow. Along with having the worst attempt:int ratio of the three.
