I know there is a movie board but I had to share. Has anyone watched it? It has to be the most scientifically accurate movie I ever watched. The plot actually has a respectable ending unlike other sci fi flicks, Prometheus etc... My only issue was the organ music blasting my ears away.

Oh and Matthew Mcconaughey is a horrible actor however besides Dallas Buyers Club

It was woth the 7.00 that's about it. I won't buy it.

But in the future, when the only fresh water we get is from desalinization.....and dust storms are frequent and we grow crops in mega giant greenhouse skyscrapers through hydroponics.........

Well remember this movie

Only thing scientifically incorrect that I've heard is that clouds couldn't freeze like they did on that one planet

Besides the movie he won Best Actor for he's a bad actor?

True Detective?

Guy has developed serious acting chops.

Also, Chris Nolan is known for being very attentive to every single detail of his movies. Inception was cray cray and so was Memento.

i thought it was fantastic, albeit, upon first viewing, i left not knowing whether i hated it or loved it.

Upon further viewing in IMAX (really got to enjoy the awesomeness of it all and the score) like all Nolan movies, it's a very poorly plotted movie, but amazing spectacle of film and cinema.

I always rate things as "the best movie i've seen since ..." and this one knocked off the last one from 2011 or 12.

-----------------SPOILER--------------------------

The movie was enjoyable, yet predictable. Once Murph started talking about the Ghosts, I knew where the story was headed.

Here's what bugs me. When he's getting ready to leave, Murph has figured out the message to be "stay". She tells him. He ignores her. When he's behind the bookshelf......why in the frick does he send the same message knowing that he wouldn't listen to the message. Seems like an exercise in futility. Why not just leave shite alone since he's going anyway. That way, it doesn't freak Murph out and they leave on, at lease, semi-better terms.

It felt like a science fiction movie destined to someday not be so fictional.

I really liked the soundtrack and think it added a lot to the movie. Nolan wanted this to be a combination of a religious experience and the most epic funeral of all time for mankind's rebirth. So the organ music worked IMO.

I thought he was great in it, especially when he went through all the messages that his kids left him over a 23 year period.

Masterful film. I don't even care about the science or lack thereof or plot holes or lack thereof or fan boys or haters, it was just a powerful film

Spoilers........

Watched it last night. Three issues off the top of my head atm

1. Corny arse lines at the beginning. Got better as the film went along.
2. At the end when she was in her old room and she suddenly understood everything right in time before her brother came home. I was like come on man. Corny, just too perfect, whatever.. I could see it about to dawn on her and I already had my hand heading toward my face for a face palm when it finally did dawn on her.
3. Her brother gets home after putting out his crop fire, his sister and some guy is trying to make off with his wife and kid, his sister come out of the house ranting about his dead dad, and he's just fine with it?!?!? That's cool sis you're trying to steal my wife and kid, you're spouting nonsense about our dead dad, and your boyfriend is trying to jack me up with a tire iron, but that's cool come here and give me a hug.

Other than that it was a pretty good movie Made me want to watch it again. Already had to start it over twice after it got halfway through because my stream messed up.

One of the best theatre experiences I've had in years. I was completely engrossed the entire time. And Hans Zimmer better run away with that Oscar, that soundtrack was incredible.
