How stupid do you have to be to have a stadium facing east/west? Correct me if I'm wrong, but Samford is the only stadium in a power 5 conference that faces east/west. complete and utter stupidity

It was built upon Masonic Law. The open side of the stadium faces NW and the hedges are also open on that side. The hedges are traditionally meant to protect from evil spirits, but being open to the setting sun suggests the Masons intended for Satan to enter. It's a Masonic invitation.
