That tends to happen when you never play the 1st,2nd, or 3rd place team in the east (regular season). Its helps that since 2008 bama has played UGA, USC, and Florida a combined 4 games while LSU has played UGA, USC, and Florida a combined 12 games since 08.

Or...If LSU could beat them it would keep Bama from 12.
