i haven't forgotten but it does make it difficult to watch and actually ascertain if we're good or we're bad or they're good or they're bad because it's seems like no one is consistent enough to tell. it was just prettier back then and better to watch. i still love us and love the team and want us very badly to succeed but i can't help but compare bc i was around then and lived and breathed hog basketball.

No one is. Look at Kentucky last season. Limped through the SEC all year then somehow get into the Natty. Anyone can go back and watch the game between UConn and Kentucky last year and know that either one of those teams would get steamrolled by any of the decent teams in the 80's-90's. I hope they take the football route and start making kids stay for 3 years. It would massively improve the product on the court around the nation.
