This is how I feel about top QBs going to Bama. List off all of the top Bama QBs in the last ~15 years and see how successful they have been in the NFL. Most of them are lucky to even make a practice squad. If you want to make it to the NFL as QB, Alabama probably isn't the best place to go.
And then you add the fact that top prospects are a dime a dozen there, it's just going to be hard for you to break the depth chart to become a starter.

In fairness, the Bama QB's compared to Franklin, Gabbert, Daniel or Smith? Mizzou's QB's haven't exactly made it in the NFL when our best QB is a career backup.
Their QB's have had solid college careers and if I'm a WR, I'm more worried about that than which make it in the NFL and which don't. Looking at college careers, I'd give the nod to Mizzou.
