The only real plus, is the potential of an NC at Bama being higher than with us.

Everything else is a negative.

Let's start with the TE class at Bama.

starter, sophomore O.J. Howard was a 5 star, rated 16th overall in his class by rivals, and still only had 17 catches, and zero TD's.

Bama's offense:
Alabama had 290 receptions last season

Wide Receives caught 205 passes
RB caught 55 passes
TE caught 30 passes including 17 to Howard

So on average Alabama throws to their tight end 2-4 times a game.

Alabama also has 4 tight ends on its roster who are returning and saw playing time last year.

Alabama hasn't put a TE in the NFL for 10+ years

Missouri offense - We've been trying to get the ball to Culkin, but he drops as many as he catches. The opportunity is much higher at getting PT and more throws.

In the past 10yrs to the NFL: Egnew, Rucker, Coffman

This is how I feel about top QBs going to Bama. List off all of the top Bama QBs in the last ~15 years and see how successful they have been in the NFL. Most of them are lucky to even make a practice squad. If you want to make it to the NFL as QB, Alabama probably isn't the best place to go.

And then you add the fact that top prospects are a dime a dozen there, it's just going to be hard for you to break the depth chart to become a starter.

Some truth to this.......it's not like Maty is hitting him between the numbers a lot either.

Don't sleep on Jason Reese.

He can catch. His problem is his blocking which got better late in the year. Not calling him a stud or anything. I just don't have much confidence in Culkin.
