... Oh my ... Yeah, he's usually very intelligent & reasonable, so I don't get this - unless he wanted a little time away? Does he have a big project due for work or school & needs help resisting the temptation to post? ... He's a smartass, but a smart smartass. I support his reinstatement, if he really wants it.
