In 1965 maybe but on average what LSU puts up is on the low end of the scoring spectrum.

To knit pick Chavis' few losses due to soft coverage in the last two minutes of a few games as a reason to celebrate his departure is more than a little narrow minded IMO.

The defenses that brought wins to LSU over the years damn sure out weighed a few losses. I mean shite, that 2011 defense was a freak of nature and that undefeated season was all on that nasty defense. The most points scored on y'all that year was freakin Oregon.......

Chavis saved Les' inept offenses more than the offense bailed out the defense over the last few years.
