Sucks for him, but UCA will get a good back.

Probably still unhappy and decided to finally leave.

But he's been telling KJ he needs to come to Bama.

I kinda figured this would happen.
Without Yeldon, he still has 3 rbs ahead of him with 2 highly rated freshman rbs coming in.
When it was suggested he might move to cornerback and the freshman rb (T. Jones) passed him on the depth chart it looked like he might become a numbers casualty.

For those saying no, why not? If he hasn't had any major injuries and has potential to be a good back I don't see why we wouldn't, you can never have enough depth at RB.

Arkansas isn't a school for instate players where you get a second chance at major ball after leaving for "better" opportunities and failing.

I guess he does have fresh legs

So even if it could help the team, you'd rather be butthurt that at 18 he chose to go play for Alabama? It's not like he went about his recruiting process like Mike Dyer, he simply chose to go out of state.

He spurned Arkansas in favor of a divisional opponent
Tenpenny can go frick himself

That's one way to look at it. Or you can look at it from a rational standpoint of he could help our team and would be a valuable recruiting tool for in state kids. Have him host them on visits and they can hear first hand why it's better to be a Hog in the first place anyway.

I agree with T-Boss. If Bert thinks he's worth a roster spot, then I'm for it. Bert knows running backs.

Here is the problem with taking Tenpenny:
You are taking a spot away from a player with 4 years of playing time to give it to a guy with 2 years of playing time and you don't have much info on how he has developed the last couple years.
Almost no film on him from the last 2 years and the question of why he couldn't break into the 4-deep at Bama (attitude, physicality, unable to grasp play book, blocking, etc...)
Lots of question marks.

Don't disagree. I just think that the staff should look at him and if we have the space consider it rather than refusing to consider it since he went out of state originally.
If he is just a prospect that didn't turn out so be it, but Bama is absolutely loaded at RB every year, even if he came here and contribute as a change of pace back if we have room I'd take him.

Agree...if we had room.....but RB is not a priority this class.
I don't see us using a spot for a RB with only 2 years playing time when we need OTs, Defensive backs, and linebackers.
Best scenario would be for him to walk-on.

Let him walk on and prove he deserves a scholarship. Also, I hope KJ comes to his senses after this.
