O can recruit like a motherfricker. No question.
Recruiting is NOT the problem with LSU's program. Lousiana has plenty of talent and LSU has ZERO in-state competition.
The hire was a good move under the circumstances, but probably did nothing but maintain LSU's reputation. The Steele hire was a stop-gap measure much like the time we hired Gary Darnell away from selling StateFarm Insurance. Steele won't be there long.
