I would say the rivalry has gotten bigger in the last few weeks but its not the biggest in the SEC. Bama vs Auburn is definitely the biggest.

I think it's just because there was a huge influx of tamu posters and they're trying to be like arky trolls. Mizzou has had ssome success or they'd be just as insecure.
