Or maybe..just maybe...they are creating polls in order to create buzz so more people click on the link...I've never heard a single intelligent or realistic thing from a Fox commentator or sports writer probably ever.

All that these too early polls do is show the media doesn't have a clue and nobody reality does until the games are actually played...

my god, you make it sound soooo easy to fix.

The SEC West love continues to be laughable.

I hear ya! I cannot believe how well the third string at Ohio plays while so many teams struggle with a serviceable quarterback.
As for LSU, I am hopeful Harris will improve but really, I think y'all need to get someone new to contend for the SEC champ. That being said, with just moderate qb improvement, I could see LSU finishing in the top 15 pretty easily.

returning starters probably has the most to do with it.
You are probably right.
As far as LSU by the third game we will know a lot about them. At Miss St will be interesting. I will not lie, playing LSU in BR for the third game of the season makes me very nervous.

Yeah. Bama too high.

Bama too low, LSU a little too high. Arkansas and Tenn will probably be better than #'s 23 and 24.

I don't see Mississippi State in any polls. What's up with that.

Why is this out of the ordinary?

quote:Wins vs 'Bama and ND, which certainly should have happened, would likely have put the Tigers around 13th in the final poll. So yes, when you're ultra-talented all over the field, it is quite possible to finish that high without adequate QB play. As poorly as JJ and JL are judged to have been, the Tigers finished 7th and 2nd in their final two seasons.
We can't be 13 without a QB.

LSU has been winning for awhile without a QB, it can happen. Look at Mizzou even

Ole Miss #11 after TCU crucified them in the bowl game??? Stopped reading there. Obvious bullshite prediction with them 1 away from being a top 10 team in the nation next year???? Yeaaaaaa riiiiight! That's was with no Bro Wallace next year. I know Bo had some bad games and the TCU game was at the top but replacing him next year with "Swag Kelly" should have put them around 24 or 25 and that's being generous.

all these polls mean nothing, the only one matter is the playoff committee poll, the rest are just farts in the air
