Then I imagine the fallout if something similar were to happen today

One time when I was playing NCAA, I hung 154 on Air Force in the BCSCG. I try to imagine what would happen if a team even hit triple digits in today's world

I remember when Alcoa High school beat Gatlinburg Pittman 106-0, parents were calling for the coaches head.

Thing is, they didn't throw a pass after the first quarter, put their JV team in for the 2nd half and just kicked field goals for the 4th quarter.

The coach would be fired - the IRS would audit his account showing he was delinquent on taxes - somewhere along the way he'd be made out to be a pedophile and locked away for 99 years.
