This poll is based on results to this point.. This poll does not take into to account perceptions of how good a team is on paper.
1. BAMA (2-0) sports SEC's best defense.. opponents avg 41ppg and a lofty margin of victory 19.5ppg.
2. UArk (2-0) Avg 80ppg Bobby Portis probably the best player in the League. turning opponents over at 19.5pg.
3. UF (2-0) Solid road win against an improved(?) USC. Obliterated a horrible MSU. Nothing really stands out about this team but they have a great coach.
4. UK (2-0) Yes... UK the greatest team ever made is looking really pedestrian in league play in 2 games. Being taken to 3 extra periods by 2 mediocre teams doesn't scream #1... if they didn't have Kentucky on their jersey they'd be 0-2.
5. Mizzou (1-1) beat LSU
LSU (1-1) can't close in regulation
Vandy (1-1) won and loss by 12
AUb (1-1) hard team to read has some pieces
UT (1-1) goes on long scoring droughts
Ole Miss (1-1) has played fairly well considering.
10. UGA (0-2) probably pretty good.. Mann has to play better tho.
USC (0-2) are they better than this?
aTm (0-2) played UK tough but routed vs Bama
MSU (0-2) easily the worst team in the league.
The SEC is flirting with about 5-6 teams in the NCAAs I'm thinking most of the league will be around the .500 mark road wins will be at a premium.
*ETA - somehow I always seem to forget about aUburn.
