I've said when games are unwatchable and I'll say when it's the opposite.

Last night's game was an enjoyable watch. I thought the team seemed to have grown up and played with more maturity.

Post, we need that the rest of the year. My suggestion...try to establish position with both feet in the paint. If he can get the ball in that deep, he's always had that quick catch and up with a baby hook. I was thinking back to the first or second game of the season, maybe even one of the exhibition games, when I had made a comment about how that's his best move and he's in trouble if he gets the ball further away from the basket and has to do something with it to create a shot. Last night, if his points weren't on dunks, they were on that extremely quick catch and release deep down low.

Wright...kid is our best shooter. He seemed to also catch up to the game overall last night. He didn't seem overwhelmed or overmatched with the speed of the game.

Clark...I still say he looks like he's put on some bad weight and looks winded at times (stop with the ganja would ya) but he definitely gutted it out and came up big with big shots when needed late.

J3...keep working on that mid-range shot. He can beat guys off the dribble and if he can perfect that mid-range jumper, he'll really become unstoppable. Nice double/double though. Really played with emotion and determination last night.

Isabel...I thought one of his best games last night. I don't even know what he ended with point wise, but that doesn't even matter. 6 assists and only 1 turnover. Much needed. Hopefully it's nothing serious with his knee.

Allen and Rosburg both had their time reduced significantly. Expected with Rosburg. Not so much with Allen. Not much of him after that ill advised three.

Gant, even with struggles, I believe is shooting at a high percentage. If the rest of his game can catch up, he can really help this team. How much does it suck that he essentially missed all of the noncon.

Really happy for KA and the team. They needed one to fall their way and hopefully they can build off of that. The SEC certainly has the teams that allow you to do that. Last night, the needle moved a bit.

I was not impressed at all with LSU. If they are the 3rd or 4th best team in the SEC, well it will be a long ugly season in the SEC for basketball.

I think Allen's minutes were driven by the matchups. He can't guard a 3 as well (I think, I could be wrong) and their 4 was too big for him. Just my guess.

And I'll second your overall post. Hats off to Kim. Great start to conference play and good win. He Outcoached the LSU coach by a mile.

It's been coming, starting with the Illinois game. But a young team has to learn how to win at the end of games against good teams. But the chemistry has been building ever since JW3 began to take charge on the offensive end. If Post can keep up what he's doing right now, and we can stay reasonably healthy, this team could finish in the top half or even top third of the conference, and go to the NIT.

And heck, it wouldn't be completely out of the realm of possibility that they could sneak in the Big Dance via a conference tourney championship.
