Talking on the phone. FaceTime is okay, though. If I can't see who I'm talking to, I get antsy.

I will ride every single ride there is. I LOVE roller coasters.
Maybe because I'm strapped in. I can't handle being on balconies in tall buildings, or looking down out of windows of them either. I also don't like being in nosebleed seats. I get dizzy.

We have a rule in our house: I kill snakes, spiders, etc. Wife has to kill roaches.
Thankfully, we keep a clean house and in four years have only had one roach in the house. That written, I'm absolutely phobic about roaches. If I see one, I invariably get nightmares the same night. I cannot step on them or get anywhere near them. The thought of them just makes my skin crawl.

Nope, even I stay the frick out of the ghettos/barrios
Not scared (used to have to go every now and then to visit family), but ain't nothing good going on in there that I ever cared to be a part of.

My biggest phobia is airplanes. My smallest phobia is germs

Heights, spiders, swimming in lakes/oceans.
Saw a spider in the kitchen over the summer, long story short broke the oven and had to buy a new one.

Fear of maiming/amputation. Idk if there's a term for that.
Fear of large bodies of water, too.
I can swim, but I like to see the edges of the water I'm in.

Maybe claustrophobic... I never had a problem with tight spaces until I had an MRI last year. No panic, but it still was unnerving.

I know how to swim as well, but if I can't stand up in the body of water I'm in, I will not enter.

algebra anxiety.
it's not a phobia, but it an anxiety disorder.
i failed algebra 2 (was passed because i was an athlete) and killed Geometry and Trig for some reason and was a B student in PreCal.
Then i took my 1 class of Algebra in college required for liberal fine arts majors and was failing at mid-term so i dropped it and took Contemporary mathematics.
i think it went back to my Algebra 1 course when my teacher was the BB coach and they made a deep run in the playoffs and then started interviewing for other jobs, so he disappeared from Feb-May and we just shared answers. Just never learned the concepts.
It manifests itself in dreams that i have where my HS calls me and says we know you really failed and have to come back or we'll take your diploma away or my university says that wasn't a real math class. and then i get dicredited and lose my job and family in the dream.

You need to take pre-algerbra or interemediate algebra and master the formula's. I had a great teacher because I hate math so I took intermediate in college and he knew lot's of tricks and stuff and made it really easy to comprehend.
