quote:

QB: Coker- Bateman- Cornwell

Agreed.

quote:

RB: Henry- *Drake- Jones- Tenpenny- *Scarbrough

I think Scarbrough ends up over Tenpenny, but I agree other than that.

quote:

FB/H: Clarke- Flournoy Smith

Clark*, but yeah I agree if the Clark to FB rumor is true.

quote:

TE: Howard- Greene- TFS- Faciane

Look out for Hale Hentges to make some noise. Idk where he'll be on the depth chart, but he's good.

quote:

LT: Robinson- Jackson

Dom Jackson isn't a LT. He's a RG or RT, imo.

quote:

LG: Bozeman- Pierschbacher

I don't know how it WILL end up, but I like Casher at LG. He doesn't fit as well at RG (though he could play it, obviously) as he's a smaller, athletic guy rather than a powerful guy. Put him at LG for pass pro and pull him. Grant Hill and Alphonse Taylor are also options here.

quote:

C: Kelley- Hassenauer

Kelly*, and agree.

quote:

RG: Taylor- Casher

I think this could be Taylor, but Dom Jackson fits best at RG. Not sure I like his pass pro at RT. Grant Hill also an option here. As is Lester Cotton.

quote:

RT: Hill- Cotton

Agreed.

quote:

DE: Pettway- Hand
DT: Robinson- Liner
DT: Reed- Frazier- Lake
DE: Allen- Tomlinson

Agree with all of this.

quote:

OLB: Devall- Evans- Miller
ILB: Ragland- Foster- Lee
ILB: SDH- Foster- Lee
OLB: Anderson- Williams

Technically Evans is a Jack and Miller is a Sam, though both could easily play either. I think it'll end up being Devall/Anderson as the OLBs, but I think Evans needs to start. We need his athleticism on the field as much as possible.

At ILB, I think Ragland/Foster will be the guys, and then SDH or Adonis Thomas could come in on third down.

quote:

CB: Jones- Jackson- Smith
CB: Brown- Sylve- Humphrey

FS: G. Smith- Washington- Thompson
SS: Jones- Harrison- Cook

Agreed, for the most part. I think it looks like that, though we have options.

I like Jackson at Star in that lineup. I wouldn't mind seeing Jackson at Safety and Marlon Humphrey at Star. The other Safety could be Geno, and Hootie could be the Money.

Serious post is serious but Eddie might be fixin to be the best corner we have had under Saban. Just got that feeling.

He has a better body, and a more killer instinct than any other. He is as or more athletic that any of them. But the Big difference he has that none of the others have had is the competition behind him push. Say what you want about him this year but he was injured and then worried about re-injury. If and a big IF, he can get over that look the frick out.

And on another note, so many Bama fans keep up with recruiting that they know more of the newer names than some of the names that they have forgotten about. Boundary corners get less safety help do the the natural shade of the safety. So by default the boundary corner is more likely to be the better of the 2.

Who is to say that Eddie does not displace Cyrus at boundary, move Cyrus over the field and then Cyrus down to star and Tony to field when needed? The 3 best corners are not leaving. Any combination without those 3 is a more of hope on recruiting stars rather than what we have seen.

We are red-shirting 5 stars on the reg. TB has the intangibles to be a freak, plus he has the all important early pt. But Cyrus and Eddie wont be passed the hard way.

Somebody gonna have to play safety though

ETA without actually editing: Is safety the problem with this D? Or one of the main problems?
