The days of the dynasty are over.

Another victory for Jim Delany.

How so? Conference dominance can still exist... the SEC has a crop of mediocre QBs and almost all the big players are rebuilding.

SEC will still produce great teams that will vy for the national title year after year.

If a team is truly a dynasty type team the playoffs won't change that...

Honestly, I could care less about "Dynasties" based on subjective polls (be it SEC or otherwise). The best team in the FBS for any given season has needed to be decided on the field for years. This years projected BCS computer simulations prove it was wrong as Bama would have been playing FSU for the title.

No, it has ended mismatches created by teams going undefeated against weak schedules - ala ND in 2012 and Nebraska 2001. These teams now have to win a difficult game before reaching the championship. Likely, this will make the championship games themselves more consistently competitive.
