The worst loss ever by an SEC team in a bowl game is 39 points (Georgia lost to Nebraska 45-6 in the 1969 Sun Bowl). Ole Miss is currently losing by 42 points.

Ole Miss is far closer to "elite" status than Tennessee is at the moment.

Yes. As bad as 21-0 was, it was 15-0 (5FG's) late in the 4th. At least LSU's defense showed up allowing on a single TD.
