LSU fans....keep your head up. You've go plenty of young talent to build on. Bama has lost this type of game several times. I'm not going to trash talk, but there's no excuse for this loss. LSU lost their bowl game to an unranked team, and that's unacceptable for a program of LSU's caliber. Furthermore, the #s from the rushing defense seem reminiscent of the Mississippi State and Auburn losses. Was Beckwith not starting or injured for some reason?

Don't let the yardage and points fool you either. LSU only drove down the field and scored once. They had a kickoff return and 2 3rd quarter explosive plays, but the offense again failed to show the ability to drive the field consistently or get the win in crunch time.
