Think of his raw talent level when the following is considered:
1. Miles is very loyal to seniors in terms of touches.
2. By design, LSU doesn't feature a back.
3. LSU cannot throw the football.
4. He's gained over 1,000 yards.
5. He's a true freshmen.
Basically, he's been successful when all indicators say he shouldn't. The reports that came out of August practice said he was untackalable. Like many, I had visions of this guy just absolutely "going off" from day one, and when he didn't - and merely played well - there was a certain amount of disappointment. Looking back though - like even to the Wisconsin game - a person that knew where to look should have been able to see that this guy was very, very good. I think that because of the devaluing of the RB position, there's a decent chance he stays around a year longer than the norm. If he does, I do think that by the end of that final year, he'll be considered the best running back in college football, and that's mainly based on point 3 above. Good gosh, I cannot imagine what he would do if everyone in the stadium didn't know he was getting the football every time he's in the backfield.
