Two storied rivalries, with serious talent headlining each at the coaching position now.
The biggest difference I can see is that Saban and Malzahn are both near opposites of each other (methodical defensive mind vs high energy offensive mind), AND have much more difficult competition (both in recruiting and on the field) against the rest of the conference, while the B1G looks to turn into the Buckeye-Wolverine show.

I'd love for Harbaugh to have another back-slapping incident at midfield with Meyer.

Franklin (PSU) will have the next kick arse team in the B1G. It will take awhile for Harbaugh to turn things around while PSU is already getting there. Check out PSU's recruiting. They are the first team in the B1G, after OSU, to crack the top 20 in recruiting at #10 right now.

Agree. Great rivalries go back and forth. It only took Saban one year to figure out Malzahn gimmick system. Don't expect that to be much of a rivalry any more.

I think your giving Franklin too much credit. Unlike the 4 mentioned by the OP - Franklin has yet to win anything worth while. He may start recruiting well but he is really just going to be a thorn in the side of Meyer / Harbaugh. He'll have some upset wins but I don't expect him to be able to deal with what it takes to win titles.
Also - I think the SEC is on a different scale than the big 10. We're going to see that in a few days when UA destroys Ohio St.
One more thing - Kiffen / Muschamp adds so much more to the Saban / Malzahn rivalry. You really have 4 coaches that are arguably 1 and 2 at what they do. It would be good to see the dynamic duo's to stay at least 3 more years at each school.

Nice troll attempt - but when the gimmick systems puts up the most yards UA has ever given up in year 2 - the troll attempt becomes useless.

Harbaugh wont quit on his players or contract. Very doubtful that he will invent a disease either.
