Yea i had a management course this semester. I wish i would have paid more attention in access. Excel became my favorite tool in finance. We were in the finance lab so we were allowed to use excel on test. Needless to say i didn't miss any questions that could be put into excel

The most use I found was in thermo. A couple of basic tools could solve for every mass flow and enthalpy as long as I could fill in a few gaps.
Learn a little VBA while you're at it though. Writing macros can cut your time considerably after you put in the initial investment to get it coded up correctly.
