Summary: Several teams are staring the NIT right in the face... SEC may not produce more than 4 NCAA teams... 6 teams will probably Vy for 3 spots with UK being the only lock so far.

SEC BBALL Power Rankings Team (REC)- Summary (LW Rank)

1. UK (12-0) - Look to be getting even better... the defense is amazing and the shooting is picking up quickly.. Was Poythress holding them back? lol (1)

2. LSU (9-2) Stretched winning streak to 6 games now... not the toughest of schedules but still winning (2)

3. Arkansas (9-2) Snapped back to win 3 in a row in convincing fashion (6)

_____________ Tourney Break Line ___________________

4. BAMA (8-3) Loss by one in a devastating go from ahead defeat @ Wichita State won last 3 of 4..(4)

If Alabama is indeed 4th, SEC Basketball is in much worse shape than I thought.

We are getting better with a young team. Looking for moral victories in year one of the rebuild.

Solid ranking as usual.

UT should move up in conference play. During the Mercer game they ran a stat that had Vols 4th in SOS.
