I don't understand why Nuss never gets any credit when he was at Alabama?
As far as recruiting, I remember him being pretty good.

Bama fan says Nuss sucked.

Honestly, this brings me back to how much I disliked the McElwain hire at first, I'm worried he's going to try and model Florida on Bama instead of doing what he did everywhere outside of Tuscaloosa and run the shotgun spread.
Given how the hire was sold, and the mood of the fan base Mac better be running a shotgun spread ala Fresno and Colorado State because trying to go power pro style ala Bama will get him fired in 3 or 4 seasons, Florida doesn't have the recruiting base to be a power team and the fan base won't tolerate it after watching Boom try that crap for 4 years.
