Several of these "technologies" produce superior quality still to their newer alternatives.
1. Kodachrome film still produces extremely high quality images in the hands of skilled photographers with good equipment. Granted, it has become a boutique use.
2. The same could be said for vinyl records. On a top quality LP player, such as a Bang and Oluffson, you get simply great sound. Not to mention the nostalgia of playing a collection of music you collected throughout your life.
3. The Fax machine still has a place. Limited but valuable. Certain legal documents, images and other things need fax still. Also in non English character languages use of fax is still widely used.
4. land lines and corded phones still provide superior sound quality to VOIP and wireless. I have all these available but for international calls for my business, I will use a land line.
