Beaumont, you're either really naive or really stupid....or some moderate combination of the two. I said nothing about Colorado being more "dangerous" than Georgia. That WOULD be silly...you're right. I'm simply saying, as a father, you've got enough shite to try and keep your kids out of, weed included here. But there is at least the barrier of it's legality (or lack thereof) in Georgia. It may not be much of a barrier, but the potential legal ramifications in addition to mom and dad's ire can at least be somewhat of a deterrent. You can still get it if you want it here, but it being as accessible (and visible) as a pack of gum at any store means you've got work harder as a parent to steer your kids to make good choices. When you were a teenager, did you get beer, cigarettes or weed more? Why?

Btw, this isn't an argument for or against it's legalization. It's coming, one way or another. I personally don't care.....it's fine with me if it's legalized, but I'd prefer that come about after my kids are at least 18. Selfish, I admit.

I understand you didn't specifically say safety from crime was your concern, but I'd suggest you are the naive/stupid one since you stated Bobo is being an irresponsible parent since he is moving to a state with legalized pot. By every public health measure I'm aware of Colorado is safer and healthier than Georgia. Why didn't you think he was irresponsible when he lived in Georgia? Why just cherry picking weed? (I don't smoke btw).

My point isn't that you said Colorado was unsafe, my point is that Bobo isn't an irresponsible parent moving to Colorado. That's completely laughable. He got a massive raise and is in a great area. Yea, irresponsible parenting since there isn't a nanny state telling adults what to do about pot.
