I booked RV reservation at Nashville KOA, but now having second thoughts. Any ideas or suggestions about the other two locations near the KOA and Opryland? TwoRivers Campground or the Jellystone Park?
Also, suggestions for restaurants in Nashville?
TIA

KOA Opryland is in an average area. Opry Mills shopping center is close by and you will have good access to the interstate. But personally I do not like this part of town. If you can find a spot south or west of town, you will be better off. Especially south in Williamson county. As far as eating, the Gulch area of midtown is a great place to mingle and enjoy the food.
Sorry you are not getting more help from Vandy fans. We are in a bunker mentality these days. There is a civil war going on among the fan base. The Pitchforks (of which I am a proud member) against the Status Quo Establishment.

James Franklin may be gone, but his presence is still very much alive. The "Pitchforks" is a term coined by a flaming status quo supporter with the intent to belittle that portion of the fan base desiring real and lasting change. Instead of being insulted, we adopted the label and use it as our mantra to push back.

Gotcha. Sounds like the division we had at the end of the Nutt years.
Any word on your OC position?

Never been to the KOA there and did not even know one existed. If it is near Opryland you have the food joints in that massive mall and if you are near Briley you can get most places pretty quick. You should be near Elm Hill and the airport and there are some good places to eat around there. I like Darfons and they have an old Uncle Bud's in that shopping center where Lebanon Pike and Old Lebonon Road meet up.

Can't really speak on KOA other than the Opryland one is near shopping and restaurants. It's also around ten minutes from downtown. Nashville has a shite ton of good restaurants, so it really depends where you're at. BBQ- peg leg porker, Martins, Jacks( downtown)
For Nashvilles famous hot chicken try Hattie Bs or Princes.
In midtown- Boundry is great. Rotiers for a great burger. South Street for some laid back seafood.
Downtown- Nice Restaurants= The Southern, Watermark and Etch
Broadway Brewhouse, Baileys and the Flying Saucer are great for brews and food.
Anywhere in the Gulch is great.
Loveless Cafe, a little west of town is one of the most famous restaurants in Nashville and May have the best biscuits in the country. Also, pancake pantry is very well known near Vandy.
I'm also a fan of Soulshine pizza in midtown for food and live music. Also try The Row in that area.

I am impressed you know so much about Vandy. We are still looking. Stanford at Boise State turned us down. Roper from Florida is being mentioned but he wants four years. We are also looking for a DC. Mason saved his job, at least for another year, by firing both coordinators.

Jellystone is a good , clean place. I lived in Nashville from 17yrs old till 33 and my family would come down from NY and stay there every year. Good place! Much better than KOA

Average area? It's located in a spot that is relevant to all Nashville has to offer! Not a bad spot at all. Just not the best RV Park

I did a "Night out on the town" theme for the parents Christmas present and made sure to have their night start off at Etch for dinner and drinks. Great place.
Haven't been to The Southern yet

Also gotta mention....... Lockeland Table, Patterson House and Masons Southern Provisions.
Like I said, in Nashville there are no shortages of good restaurants to hit up.
