@InsideNFLMedia: .@RapSheet on Gus Malzahn: "I would expect the Dolphins to have interest in him if they part ways with Joe Philbin."

Partner in my firm that is pretty connected with the Fins told me this last Monday.

Browns tried to get Gus last year as well. He isn't going anywhere though.

Philbin is probably about 55-60% that he is back next year right now. Harbaugh apparently has tried to reach out to the Fins, but been rebuffed. Ross has stated he isn't interested in being used as leverage for Harbaugh and still plans to bring Philbin back right now.

He should take it if offered, just look at Sumlin. He passed on his opportunity and now look at him.

Give him around 45 million and a truck load of double bubble and you'll get 'em

I don't believe this, but he'd be a fool not to go if they want him. Miami Dolphins >>Auburn University

Listen, if Malzahn leaves, we will just take Freeze from Ole Miss. Just like we did Tubby. AU is a better program.

I can't really see Gus being an NFL coach. Not because he couldn't do it, I just see him preferring to be a college coach.

High school coach, gimmicky offense, smoke and mirrors, etc.

Well, it is a good sign when people want your coach. Some in the NFL would probably think about taking the shot.

It's not like we can all be coveted by Nebraska.

Don't buy it. Why would NFL teams want Malzahn?

Bad move for Gus.

NFL is a questionable fit for the offense.
Tannehill is a questionable fit for the offense.
