did you turn the tv off after LSU went up 13-10???
or are you just a troll? We know the answer

Lsu featured the fewest draft eligible players on the 2 deep in fbs football. Our team was incredibly young. This colomwhatever character is a straight up moron.

LSU went 8-5 in 2002. LSU won the BCS NC in 2003.
Your post = stupid.
2. LSU went 8-5 in 2008. LSU went 9-4 in 2009. How about that?

LSU went 8-5 in 2008. Three years later we were 13-1 and playing for a national title.
2011 is not the Les Miles standard; his teams rarely perform on the level that 2011 LSU did. Why don't you see this?
What are you getting at with these posts? Given LSU's resources, championships should be a possibility every season. Thanks to Les Miles and co., they are an improbability.
Stop and consider for a moment that Les Miles has as many championships and 1-loss seasons in 10 years as Saban had in 5 as LSU's head coach. This despite the fact that Saban had to transform LSU back into a national contender while all Miles had to do was maintain or improve the LSU program.

It is true. LSU is Bama's bitch and will always be second fiddle even with a backup rb playing qb and a freshman LT. A consistent 8 to 9 win team is better than most though so you guys have that going for you. Plus it is almost baseball season too so you guys soon can feel superior to most of us.

Alabama used this excuse when the Hogs beat them in SEPTEMBER 2006?

If you can't see that we have the talent you are blind. Defense returns 9 starters barring early entry. Offense returns 8. Freshmen and first year starters will be a year older a year better.
Bama, meanwhile, loses 75% of its offensive production in the form a three players, as well as their best player on defense. Delusion? That's what you suffer from, friend.

Ha ha, yeah we cant compete with bama, that's why this thread was started. Now the world will know that LSU cannot compete with Bama.
What is sad though is most gumps actually believe it. Although it pretty much takes a miracle to beat LSU every time. What do you say to that? We had a bad game.
fricking lol.
Why do you dumbasses worry so much about LSU if we are not a threat? This thread is proof of your fear.

You are drawing conclusions from a season in which we had a first year starter at QB and freshmen making key contributions at virtually every skilled position.
BS!
Miles's LSU was upset twice in 2005 including the 34-14 embarrassment in the SEC Championship.
Arkansas won the division in 2006.
LSU lost two 3OT game to 8-5 teams in 2007. LSU scraped by several average teams including Tennessee in the SEC Championship and shot back up the rankings after Missouri and West Virginia lost their final regular season games.
2008 LSU was 8-5 (3-5).
2009 LSU was 9-4 (4-4). Those close losses are countered by LSU's close wins.
2010 LSU finished 3rd in the SEC West.
2011 LSU was the first Miles team to go 12-1 or better in the regular season; that has not been repeated.
2012 LSU went 10-3.
2013 LSU went 10-3 (5-3).
2014 LSU is 8-4 (4-4).
No, I am not looking at one season to draw conclusions. I'm looking at the records from his entire tenure.

Unlike LSU, Bama can absorb the loss of big time players and still dominate with new guys even when they are young.

Ah I can't really remember that far back. But I can understand that excuse from bama, any reasonable fan would agree they're an elite program that's above us.
But a team like lsu that's on our level making the same excuse is sad and pathetic.

LOL. You hit the nail on the head.

Jesus h. Christ. Did someone from lsu bang your mom or old lady. Just wondering why your lips are firmly wrapped around lsu's nuts.

Sims played better than Jennings
Was that a surprise? Compare their season's work.
quote:
LSU had a better rushing game
LSU was not running the ball effectively though. More yards does not equal efficiency.
quote:
Both Cooper and Quinn grew alligator arms during the game
Both teams have more than one receiver. Some of the drops were partly on the quarterbacks.
quote:
Defenses were equal
Agreed.
quote:
Bama punting game was MUCH better than the LSU punt game
I don't recall. Still how does all this make LSU's D game? What units played significantly worse than usual versus Alabama?
Alabama has a great punter. Alabama has a much better quarterback. Alabama's o-line isn't dominant. Those facts were well known before and after the game, so how you use them to argue that LSU had a D-game doesn't make sense.

The kick out of bounds slipped my mind, but that is offset by Griffith's missed field goal. If Griffith didn't miss a field goal earlier, then the score would have been 13-13 and Alabama wouldn't have been as pressed to score before the end of the second half.
