I thought it was pretty neat that we didnt storm the court after arguably the biggest win in recent memory

Why would not storming the court be neat?

Don't give me that high and mighty bullshite about being too good for storming the court. Partying (storming the court) >>>> Not partying (not storming) and always will be

no "may be" about it ... auburn hit a hr with the pearl hire, no two ways about it ...

If they played toady, Bama might win. The kids AU just got eligible still have a few rough edges.

In another month it will be a very different story.

Alabama will still probably win in Tuscaloosa this year and maybe even in Auburn. I won't be overly concerned even if that happens. This will obviously be Auburn's worst team under Pearl. If you can't beat him this year, you are really going to have a difficult time beating him in the future

In a vacuum the win wasn't big enough to storm the court. Xavier is probably a top 25 team - their combined losses were by 7 total points to very good teams before last night, but right now they aren't ranked.

For the program, the win was certainly big enough to storm the court. Biggest win in years and may be viewed as the turning point for our Bball program in retrospect.

FTR, I like storming the court in Bball. I got to once as a student at an AU game and it was a lot of fun.

You severely underestimate Grant's ability to piss wins away.

I do agree fully that AU will be a beast going forward.

I thought we lost to Xavier by more than 13 We're as Jekyll and Hyde as I've ever seen though. We can be pretty good and we can be stunningly bad on any given night (or any given half).

we're Jekyll and Hyde because our roster hasn't been complete up until just 2 games ago. When Trayvon Reed and Alex Thompson came back, it gave us INFINITELY more flexibility with Bowers and keeping him fresh and out of foul trouble. It seems like in the 2nd half we figured out our offensive identity too. We're a drive to the basket, penetrating offense. If we stop settling for 3s we're going to be very tough.
