quote:

NEW YORK — Two New York City police officers have died after being shot ambush-style in their parked patrol car Saturday, according to multiple media reports.

An armed man walked up to the vehicle and opened fire before fleeing to a nearby subway station where he apparently committed suicide, police said.

The shooting happened around 3 p.m. in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood in Brooklyn at the corner of Myrtle and Tompkins avenues.

But hey, I can't imagine why cops would be skiddish these days. They're all horrible people that deserve it right?

Some of the twitter reactions from protesters are very telling. Great reminder to never side with leftists. They're an embarrassment.

I wonder how Communist Mayor de Blasio will respond. With hollow words no doubt, after throwing NYPD under the bus recently.

I've been a moderate recently. I've taken a sharp right turn in many of my views over the past couple of years. I think the Garner thing was bullshite and the cops should be culpable. I also think HandsUpDontShoot is an embarrassment, since the guy who started that with his lies recanted in testimony before the GJ. None of that should be reason to chant for the blood of cops or to cheer cold blooded murder of police officers.

The far left is anti-civilization on most fronts, I've finally begun to realize.

cops being killed while in the line of duty doesn't justify choking a guy out and shooting a 12 year old. However, choking a law breaker and a kid being shot doesn't mean cops deserve to be shot either. Id venture to guess cops killed in the line of duty is probably about equal to citizens being killed illegally by cops.

I hate it for any family of a murder victim. Whether those murdered wore a uniform or not does not matter.

Just saw this. I'm fricking furious. It's about time to start cracking down on these protesters.

What kind of fricking coward does this? I hope he burns in hell for all of eternity on a spit with salt in his wounds.

The race baiters should be held accountable for inciting violence against police.

I'm sure this guy had some serious issues with LE. He sure helped the militarized evolution of peace officers with his actions.

Seems to me this kind of murder of cops is just going to make the police forces nationwide hunker down even more and shoot first and ask questions later.

Any police officer who was a cynic before is even more so now. Any officer who is/was not, probably now may rethink their approach a little bit.

In other words, I don't think this helps the civil rights cause AT ALL.
