Sucks about that MS concert.

Not shite. I've seen Waylon and Jerry Jeff both get saucy with crowds (one over a lukewarm welcome for Jessi Colter and the other over a lukewarm welcome for Ramblin' Jack Elliot), but they both went on to bring down the house. At least they had reasons for giving a little hell.

The last time I saw this shitty of an undeserved audience treatment was in the 1980's when Conway Twitty showed up drunk and wearing a t-shirt, coaches shorts and tennis shoes. He could barely stand, sang a few hits to which he could hardly remember the words (much less annunciate them), then walked off stage. All that was missing was "Frick y'all! Goodnight!" [mic drop].

But then again, those 3 are legends and weren't beginning their career and playing in a 350 person venue-they were where they were because they paid their dues.

Strugill Simpson's music is solid. His stage manner-not at all.

When I saw him live I had an opposite experience. He was very gracious and prolly played longer than he should have.
