Seems to me that says that Babcock himself has declined interviews, not that he's forbidden Foster from talking.
As for what Foster says... who knows. Coaches are the LAST people you should trust when commenting about potential job switches.

I could see that from the quote, but the background is that the AD is new (so no way the AD interviews somewhere) and the article is all about Bud Foster.
