Auburn went undefeated and natty in 2010 and did the sec title/play for natty last year. If auburn isn't elite, neither is LSU. Auburn had a terrible season and LSU is missing hardware. Elite teams have a complete resume.

I think a few teams of the 2000s were very elite. But there was great disparity throughout the conference.
Now I think it's as strong as ever top to bottom... if you're in the West.
