It could happen I guess, but it is hard to picture Harbaugh going back to college when it seems clear he wants to be in the NFL.
As impressive as the salary offer is, couldn't NFL teams easily match or offer more?
I would also think Michigan did not leak this information (could be wrong). Is this just a way to give him more leverage in the NFL. I see no upside for Michigan leaking this offer --- if anything, you probably just raised the price for your plan B.
