You meant the cops and you danged well know it, but since you decided to change the boogeyman, you apparently missed the part where Tennessee's drinking age was 21 until 1964.

Just a little math will tell you that the oldest 18 year old that could legally drink would have been only 33 when the age was raised to 19 and 38 when the age was raised to 21. Unless the majority of the Tennessee legislature in 1979 was made up of people under the age of 33 (which you know it wasn't) then again, those 'responsible' could not drink at 18 either.

You're welcome, but it really didn't take much time out of my day. When you're wrong by such a wide margin, proving it isn't very time consuming.
