“A guy like (Eichorst), who has no integrity, he doesn’t even understand what a core value is," Pelini told players. "He hasn’t understood it from the day he got here. I saw it when I first met with the guy.
“To have core values means you have to be about something, you have to represent something that is important to you. He's a f------ lawyer who makes policies. That’s all he’s done since he’s been here: hire people and make policies to cover his own arse.”
“I didn't really have any relationship with the A.D.,” Pelini said. “The guy, you guys saw him (Sunday), the guy is a total p----. I mean, he is. He's a total c---.”
Pelini said he never received guidelines stating what he had to do in 2014 to keep his job. Over the past six months, Pelini said, he saw Eichorst “probably a total of seven or eight times for a total of about 20 minutes.”
“He goes, I disagree that I haven't supported you. I said, 'Hey bud, you can't support someone under a f-ing rock.' I said, to do your job at this level, in a place like this, you gotta be a grown-arse f-ing man...to lead something. I said you can't lead anything under a f-ing rock. I said you don't spend any time with us. Our players don't even know who you are. That isn't leadership.

If the stuff he said about Eichorst's complete lack of interaction with student athletes and the coaching staff is true, that's pretty bad.

You'll get pounded by the self-appointed board police, but I'm glad you posted this. That was awesome.
Pelini is such a loose cannon, but at least you don't have to worry about knowing where you stand with him.

That's a good way to never get hired at a big time school again. Maybe Louisville.

So, how does he really feel? It is hard to tell from all the coachspeak in those quotes.

Sour grapes and this belongs on the "I'm a bitch board"

While it's an awesome meltdown, he can kiss a major coaching gig in the future goodbye.

It is a bit ironic throwing a childish temper tantrum like this while at the same time chastising someone for not acting like a grown man.

He is probably right about the ad but if he would not have run his mouth he would probably still have his job.

don't care that this is on the wrong board. Those quotes are gold

He honestly sounds like a bitch who can't handle the pressure of a prime time job. That rant (and others in his past) makes him sound mentally unstable and completely unemployable at a major program.

Wow. Pellini just earned my respect.

Pelini is a goon. A clownish goon. I'm not even sure he's Youngstown material.

Shitty Coach, assistant, person, etc.
He's like the Muschamp of the Big10

AD's will be lining up to hire this idiot. Lol, he needed someone to tell him his bare minimum goals to keep his job? How about win more games dumbass.
With an attitude like that its no wonder the AD didn't want anything to do with him.
